The Hunt for Cade Skywalker
Welcome to the Star Wars Miniatures Strategy Showcase (S3). One of the best ways to become a better player in a strategy game is to practice and analyze different game situations. In each installment of this series, we'll offer a situation for you to analyze. What overall strategy or specific tactics should each side employ to achieve victory?Almost 140 years after the Battle of Yavin, the Sith reemerge under the command of the cruel Darth Krayt. Poisoned long ago by Yuuzhan Vong biotechnology, Krayt knows that his plans for galactic conquest will dissolve with his death.
Krayt senses the Force healing power of Cade Skywalker. He dispatches his Hand, Darth Talon, to find Cade and bring him to the Sith Temple on Coruscant. The power of the Skywalker bloodline may be the answer to Krayt's disease.
Cade Skywalker has rejected his Jedi upbringing and found friends in the bounty hunters Deliah Blue and Jariah Syn. However, he learns that he can't hide from his past -- or the Sith -- for long. An unexpected visit by his ghostly ancestor, Jedi Master Luke Skywalker, may be the persuasion that Cade needs to fulfill his destiny and destroy the Sith.

Strategy Tips
If it helps you to solve the puzzle, you can set up the figures on the Grand Plaza map (from the Clone Strike Starter Set) as seen in the photo. The blank side of a map and replacement figures work just as well. Setting up the figures might help you to make decisions about how they should move.
With each squad separated by doors, who should make the first move? What would you do with each side if you won initiative? Would you move or defer the first activations to your opponent? What specific characters or abilities do you think would be the most important for each side?
Gambit rules are used in this puzzle. The center point of the map is the lower left corner of H11. If you are unfamiliar with Gambit rules, refer to the Star Wars Miniatures DCI Floor Rules (available as a Word file or a PDF file).
